Ellis Family...

This is seriously one of my favorite locations. I love the funky colors, and that the beach is a skip down the road. Sharon (the mom) is probably one of the funniest girls that I know. And she happens to be one of the people I call to make me feel better about myself...! (Probably more than she likes!) :)
Oh, and their colors matched everything, so thanks for that. I love that the girls look totally opposite of eachother, but still beauties. And that goes for mom and dad too. Thanks for letting me take your first pictures since you got married. IT'S ABOUT TIME! LOVE YOU. LOVE THEM.

This little family is one of the greatest EVER. I love their momma like crazy. Not only is she an amazing mom, friend, and sounding board. But this little lady makes the meanest banana cake this side of the mississippi. (Think the best banana bread with browned- butter cream cheese frosting...HEAVEN).

I had to post a jumping picture of the family because we were in giggle fits...trying to make it work. Pretty funny.

Happy 1 YEAR Anniversary!

It's been such a great year of learning, adjusting, frustratation, and more adjusting. I am so grateful to all of my clients in the last year who helped me grow this business. They had a LOT of faith in a girl who had a vision, but not a ton of techincal knowledge. So, thanks for trusting me to capture your families...(especially the Waldron family for letting me learn and practice!)

Here are the top three things I learned:

1. Friendship BEFORE ambition
2. Lighting makes the most difference between a good picture and a GREAT picture
3. You are never a success without the people who helped you get there. My lovely family for all the late stinking nights and hours. My amazing friends (you know who you are) who always comment on my blog, facebook, you name it. And Julie Parker, who showed me how to start and keeps me striving to be as good as she is! :) You all stand by me when things go good, when my feelings get hurt, and when I need advice! So THANKS!

Emily {Utah Senior Photographer}

I love taking pictures of this girl..she's always so funky and can pull just about anything off. She rocked the blue tutu, and the urban setting. She really wanted some cool dance pictures and I think she looks ROCKIN'!

Really, how does one family end up with three crazy beauties?...Great genes going on here, and not the Gap kind.
If you look back this was my FIRST ever baby..little Spencer. I can't believe how fast time has gone.
