Clark part II...

Here is part dos for the Clark family. They were a great family to hang out with, and the kids a bottle of energy. I love when people do pictures of things they like to do..the kids are more comfortable, and they get to have memories of the fun things that their kids actually did. So this was a full session of backyard fun...and a bonus that they had a great yard!

Baby Clark...

This is part one for the Clark family. This was a beautiful little boy, and only a few weeks old. We could not get the poor thing to sleep, and I'm pretty sure that at the end of the day he was not a fan of me. But I loved how alert and perfect his little eyes were..and check out those chicken legs! LOVED THEM.

OH, and I bought these beautiful white cozy, swaddle blankets at Little Cherry Blossoms on 25th street in Ogden. I met the owner Carey through Julie Parker (of course) and you can go buy this SUPER CUTE, AMAZING polka-dot bassinet at her store...GO, GO, GO!

Keith Bryce Fashion Shoot...

I had so much fun doing this workshop and fashion shoot with David Beckstead and Keith Bryce. It really was quite a bit out of my "comfort" and "safe" zone, but it was truly challenging and I learned loads. Plus, I think when you are around so many amazing photographers you have to elevate your game a bit.
I will say a HUGE thanks to Tim Uhl who took the time to teach me about lighting and many other things. His work is truly amazing. (I owe you!) And to the AMAZING models who worked their bums off ALL day! Thanks Madison and Rachel.

So, this is pretty different from my colorful little families, but I still dig it! After all this is what "high fashion" is really about. You'll have to let me know what you think!

Shooting with Beckstead!

It was a long and fun week, filled with lots of new knowledge and great photographers. Here are a few of my favorite. Tonight is the shoot with Keith Bryce and his dresses, I can't wait!

Shooting with Beckstead...

I will be attending the David Beckstead "SHOOT WITH BECKSTEAD" workshop for the next 4 days. I'm super excited to learn A TON from him, and put it to good use. He is the master of composition, and a fantastic wedding photographer.
And on Thursday Keith Bryce from Project Runway is designing a few beautiful dresses, and bringing some models for us to shoot his amazing fashions. Stay tuned for some (cross your fingers) amazing pictures!

Lauren and Devin Wedding....

So, my favorite photographer Julie Parker (click here to see her amazing pictures) invited me to second shoot at a wedding with her this past week! I can't say THANKS enough for all the mentoring advice, but happily I get to call her friend too. I learn a ton when I'm with her, and if you are wondering what "second shooting" is, it's being able to take the fun pictures and roam around while Julie did the hard work! :) It's my very first wedding and I had a blast...thanks to Julie and her beauty of a daughter Wren for having me around. Here are my favorites. (can you see i couldn't choose just one..)
