oh, the good barn locations in Utah are such fun for me to explore. It's so different than beachy, California light..but it seems I'm learning my way through. I love working with families...it's so fun to make a connection and get them to relax and have fun! Thanks Fishers for hanging out with me, and rolling around in the hay...I mean having a hay fight! :)

Preston and Meagan...

So, this is my cutest little, but oldest nephew. I used to babysit him when he was a baby...where does the time go? I made these two act like we were taking "engagement pictures" (akward? Nope.) I wanted to try some different lighting stuff..poses..editing. Some of it I really like..but it's all about the learning process for me. The more I learn, the more my style evolves, and I don't pidgeon hole myself.
Thanks for letting me boss you around..oh, and sorry about that whole ketchup mess and your suede shoes!

Baby Lance....

Meet baby Lance. His momma Ashley is one of my dear friends..I swear I'm cursed with friends who only gain 10 lbs each pregnancy and look totally AWESOME the day after birth! WHY ME I SAY? :)
Thanks for letting me love up your little one. And since they just moved to Utah from Arizona I'm hoping they stick around a little longer to hang out!

Newbold Family...

This is my sister from another mother. She is one of my closest friends. She has been there through the best of times and the very worst of times. I love her family like my own..and she was also kind enough to let me stay at her house for TWO WEEKS, while I took all of these family pictures. (and she still likes me, at least that what she says!) I keep praying that she'll want to come to Utah to live by me, but no luck yet. Anyway, little Newby. I hope you like.
